3. Publishing Services and Client Agreements
Publishing, editing, formatting, design, marketing, and related services may require a separate written agreement.
Such agreements may specify:
-
The scope of services.
-
Pricing and payment schedules.
-
Project milestones and estimated completion dates.
-
Client responsibilities.
-
Revisions and approval procedures.
-
Rights, licensing, distribution, and royalties.
-
Cancellation and termination provisions.
Submitting a manuscript, completing an inquiry form, or scheduling a consultation does not automatically establish a publishing contract or guarantee acceptance.
If a separately signed publishing or service agreement conflicts with these website terms, the signed agreement will control the applicable project to the extent of the conflict.
4. Manuscript Submissions and Intellectual Property
Authors retain ownership of their original manuscripts and creative works unless a separate written agreement provides otherwise.
By submitting materials to Boshers Publishing, you confirm that you own the necessary rights or have permission to submit and authorize the requested use of those materials.
Submission grants us limited permission to receive, store, review, and share submitted materials with authorized personnel as reasonably necessary to evaluate an inquiry or perform requested services.
Submission alone does not transfer copyright, publishing rights, or ownership to Boshers Publishing.
We respect authors' creative work and expect customers to respect the intellectual property rights of others.
5. Pricing and Payments
Prices for products, memberships, and services are shown on the applicable website page, checkout page, quotation, invoice, or written agreement.
Payment terms may vary by service or product.
For custom publishing projects, an initial deposit or scheduled payments may be required before work begins or continues.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate payment and billing information.
Applicable taxes or fees will be disclosed and charged where required by law.
Boshers Publishing will not impose additional project charges outside the agreed scope without appropriate notice and authorization.
6. Deposits, Cancellations, and Refunds
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our published Refund Policy and any applicable written service agreement.
In general:
-
Completed customized services are non-refundable.
-
Work already performed may be non-refundable.
-
Project deposits are generally non-refundable unless the applicable agreement states otherwise.
-
Digital downloads, courses, and other immediately accessible digital materials are generally non-refundable.
-
Subscription cancellations ordinarily prevent future billing rather than refund past payments.
-
Workshop and event refund eligibility depends on the stated cancellation terms.
Nothing in these terms limits refund or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

7. Advisory Memberships and Subscriptions
Boshers Advisory provides access to selected resources, writing tools, publishing guidance, and membership benefits described on the applicable membership page.
Paid memberships may renew automatically according to the billing terms presented at enrollment.
Membership prices, billing frequency, and benefits are disclosed before purchase.
Members may cancel according to the applicable subscription terms. Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated, cancellation stops future renewal charges and does not refund completed billing periods.
Access to member-only content may end when the paid or complimentary membership period expires.
Certain courses, promotions, or purchases may include complimentary Advisory access for a specified period. Such access is limited to the terms of the offer and does not automatically create a paid renewal unless the customer separately authorizes it.
Membership content is intended for the registered member's personal use. Login credentials and restricted resources must not be shared or redistributed without permission.
8. Boshers Academy Courses and Workshops
Boshers Academy provides educational resources for writers and aspiring authors.
Course descriptions, fees, included materials, enrollment requirements, delivery methods, and access periods will be provided through the applicable offering.
Educational materials are intended to support writing and publishing development. Enrollment does not guarantee publication, a publishing contract, book sales, employment, or a particular financial result.
Course materials may not be copied, resold, redistributed, or publicly uploaded without written authorization.
Workshops may have separate registration, attendance, cancellation, and participation requirements.
For participants under 18, registration and participation may require parent or legal guardian involvement and permission. Additional safeguards may apply to younger participants.
9. Digital Products and Downloads
Digital materials, including guides, workbooks, templates, and other educational products, are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Unless a product listing or written license states otherwise, purchases provide a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license for personal or internal professional use.
Purchasing a digital item does not transfer ownership or copyright.
You may not resell, redistribute, reproduce for commercial distribution, or publicly share the materials without permission.
If you experience difficulty accessing a purchased download, please contact us so we can investigate and provide reasonable assistance.
10. Author and Reader Communities
Members and visitors participating in authorized reader groups, discussion areas, or community features agree to communicate respectfully.
We may moderate or remove posts that contain harassment, spam, unlawful content, copyright infringement, or inappropriate personal information.
Users remain responsible for the material they post.
By voluntarily posting content in a public or member discussion area, you grant Boshers Publishing permission to display that content within the relevant community and operate the community feature.
This provision does not transfer ownership of private manuscripts or contracted publishing materials.
Community participation does not establish a publishing, employment, or business partnership.
11. Copyright and Website Content
Unless otherwise indicated, the Boshers Publishing name, logos, original website text, course materials, graphics, educational resources, and other company-created content are owned by Boshers Publishing LLC or used with appropriate permission.
Books and creative works by individual authors remain subject to their respective copyright and licensing arrangements.
Website content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without permission, except as allowed by law.
If you believe content on our website infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us with enough information to investigate.
12. Publishing Philosophy and Content Selection
Boshers Publishing values meaningful storytelling, quality creative work, and clean entertainment.
We reserve editorial discretion, subject to applicable agreements and law, when considering manuscripts, projects, authors, and publishing partnerships.
Our commitment to clean entertainment reflects our publishing philosophy and content preferences. It does not guarantee that every book will be suitable for every reader or age group.
Readers and parents should consider individual book descriptions and age recommendations when selecting materials.
13. Project Timelines and Communication
We aim to communicate professionally and provide reasonable timelines for agreed-upon services.
Project completion may depend on timely payment, delivery of materials, client feedback, author approvals, and third-party service availability.
Estimated project timelines are not guarantees unless expressly provided in an applicable written agreement.
Additional services or revisions beyond an agreed project scope may require a separate quotation and customer approval.
14. Third-Party Platforms and Services
Our website may connect with third-party platforms for payments, printing, book distribution, digital delivery, email, membership management, or other functions.
Those providers may have separate terms and policies.
Boshers Publishing is not responsible for disruptions, policy changes, or independent actions of third parties beyond our reasonable control, subject to any responsibilities we have under applicable law or a written agreement.
15. Educational Information and Results
Writing advice, publishing guidance, marketing resources, and educational information are provided for general informational and educational purposes.
Although we strive for accuracy and usefulness, we do not guarantee specific publishing outcomes, sales results, rankings, income, or professional success.
Customers remain responsible for their creative and business decisions.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Boshers Publishing LLC is not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, or speculative losses arising from use of the website or educational content.
This provision does not exclude liability or remedies that cannot legally be limited, and it does not replace obligations expressly agreed upon in a signed service or publishing contract.
17. Privacy
Your use of our website is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, used, and protected.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in our website, services, business operations, or applicable law.
Updated terms will be posted with a revised effective date.
Changes will not retroactively override existing signed agreements unless the parties lawfully agree otherwise.
19. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are generally governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, United States, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply in another jurisdiction.
Any dispute relating to a separate publishing or service agreement will also be subject to the terms of that agreement.
